The Vascular Program at JFK provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art cardiovascular services including non-invasive diagnostic testing and evaluation; interventional vascular treatments including surgery for conditions such as abdominal aortic aneurysm, deep venous thrombosis, peripheral arterial disease, transient ischemic attack (TIA), varicose and spider veins and venous skin ulcers; specialized care for patients with diabetic foot complications; cardiovascular disease screening programs; patient and family support; and education outreach services.
The vascular disease program at JFK Medical Center offers the only certified carotid artery stenting capabilities in the area. Our fellowship-trained physicians perform stent procedures as well as treat the many vascular disease conditions that affect the circulatory system, which involves veins and arteries that transport vital nutrients to cells throughout our body.
The Vascular Diagnostic Center proudly features expertly qualified staff and state-of-the-art technology to provide comprehensive, accurate, noninvasive vascular diagnostic procedures. Vascular Surgery and Peripheral Vascular Surgery services are provided by the most experienced team in Middlesex, Union, Somerset and Monmouth counties performing conventional surgical and endovascular therapies for the treatment of venous and arterial disease.
