Maternity & Baby Care Classes

Our program of family-centered care at JFK Medical Center has been designed to help expectant parents prepare for and share one of the most important events in family life: the birth of their child.

Our JFK Medical Center maternity team recommends that you and your partner take classes PRIOR to giving birth. This will help build your confidence, better prepare for the childbirth experience and become more informed parents.

We suggest that all courses be taken during the last trimester of pregnancy (except for prenatal yoga). Please register for all courses early in your pregnancy (3rd or 4th month) to ensure a choice of convenient scheduling dates.
