Cardiac catheterization, a special X-ray procedure that helps physicians determine if heart and blood vessels are functioning properly, is available at JFK Medical Center.
Depending on the results of the catheterization, treatment options can be addressed through diet, exercise, education, angioplasty or, in some cases, surgery. As part of the continuum of care, JFK Medical Center and its affiliate, the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, offer nutrition counseling, education, exercise programs and other methods of cardiac rehabilitation.
