Introducing Our Doctors & Staff
The JFK Family Medicine Center provides our patient’s with a patient-centered medical home, offering a wide array of services (see below). The doctors on staff are members of the Medical Center’s nationally accredited Family Medicine Residency Program. They include Family Medicine residents completing three years of post-medical school training in the specialty of Family Medicine and faculty who are board certified Family Physicians. These doctors will be responsible for coordinating and supervising your care. Other members of the Family Medicine Center staff include a behavioral scientist, an office manager, nurses, dieticians, social workers and support staff such as registrars, medical record clerks and secretaries. The entire staff at JFK’s Family Medicine Center is committed to patient satisfaction and quality healthcare.
Services Provided:
- General medical care for patients of all ages
- Gynecological care including pap smears, birth control methods, colposcopy, cryosurgery and endometrial biopsies
- Care for pregnant women
- Newborn, infant, child and adolescent care including well-baby check-ups, immunizations and sick visits
- Assistance with emotional and family problems
- Nutrition and diet counseling
- Laboratory and X-ray testing
- Preventive medicine and health education
- Minor surgery including suturing of cuts and removing warts and moles
- Health promotion and disease prevention
- E-mail communication for our patients with the office staff and physicians
