Children deserve specialized care. JFK Medical Center maintains a 30-bed inpatient unit for infants to adolescents (18 years of age) with any diagnosis. The unit is staffed by nurses certified in pediatric advanced life support, and features a playroom with the latest electronic game equipment. Pediatric patients having same-day surgery are admitted to the pediatric unit and stay there before and after their procedure.
