Seven days per week, 24 hours a day.
The JFK Medical Center Emergency Department and Mercy Nine — the mobile intensive care unit — provides emergency medical care to community residents in the event of an accident or life-threatening situation. Certified, professional paramedics and nurses arrive at the scene of an accident or sudden illness to provide emergency medical care prior to transporting a patient to the hospital.
The Emergency Department and its staff treat an average of 40,000 patients a year.
