Diagnostic Services
Diagnostic Imaging: With a goal of helping physicians make better, more informed medical decisions, JFK has a commitment to using state-of-the-art medical technologies including those in diagnostic imaging.

64 Slice CT: The 64 Slice CT, an advanced CT scan, is ideal cardiovascular, neuro, pediatric, and lung imaging, offering speed of imaging and superior diagnostic information. With increased frames and transfer rates, patient time on the table is decreased while the technology offers superior quality in diagnostic information.

Analog and Digital Mammography: A Mammogram is a low-dose x-ray of the breast that uses CAD (computer aided technology) to to detect breast abnormalities that, otherwise, may be too small to detect during a clinical examine.

Interventional Radiological Services: Interventional radiology goes beyond providing diagnostic information. Utilizing diagnostic x-rays, CT scans and ultrasound, interventional radiology employs various invasive radiology techniques to diagnose and treat an array of conditions.

The Imaging Center at JFK offers a range of diagnostic capabilities, including:

Located within the Imaging Center is the Breast Center, which provides:
  • Analog and Digital Mammography -- utilizing CAD (computer aided technology)

  • Bone Densitometry
  • Nurse Navigation
