JFK Medical Center Foundation Miles for Minds 5K A Huge Success
More than 500 participants braved the morning sun in Roosevelt Park last Sunday for the 3rd Annual JFK Foundation Miles for Minds 5K and Fun Run/Walk. Runners and walkers alike received the official start signal from the Mayor of Edison Antonia Ricigliano. Other special guest runners/walkers included Freeholder Charles Tomaro and Councilman Tom Lankey.
Fundraising efforts by the JFK Medical Center Foundation benefit the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute’s Center for Head Injuries. The Center for Head Injuries is nationally known as a pioneer in brain trauma evaluation and treatment. The Center restores real-life skills to those with head injuries so that they may return to their families and communities at the maximum level possible. Event proceeds will help purchase equipment and expand programs.
