64 Slice CT
The 64 Slice CT is currently available at JFK. With its speed of imaging and superior diagnostic information, this advanced CT scan is ideal for cardiovascular, neuro, pediatric and lung imaging. With increased frames and transfer rates, patient time on the table is decreased while the technology offers superior quality in diagnostic information.
Interventional Radiological Services
Available at JFK, interventional radiology goes beyond providing diagnostic information. Utilizing diagnostic x-rays, CT scans and ultrasound, interventional radiology applies various invasive techniques to the diagnosis and treatment of an array of conditions.
R2 Image Checker
This electronic tool reviews a mammographic image and checks the radiologist's interpretation of the mammogram to ensure required diagnostic information is provided.
Located within the Imaging Center is the JFK Breast Center, which provides surgical evaluations, stereotactic breast biopsy, traditional and digital mammography and breast ultrasound.
