The Center for Behavioral Health, located on the JFK Medical Center campus, provides comprehensive outpatient diagnostic and counseling services for individuals suffering from substance abuse, emotional and nervous conditions, family problems, lifestyle distress, chronic mental health problems, and other compulsive and addictive disorders. It has served the community for more than 25 years.
Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and reviewed independently as a specialty department by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the Center is staffed by a Board Certified psychiatrist as well as licensed psychologists, clinical social workers and certified addiction specialists. Therapy, which comprises medical and behavioral evaluation and treatment, is provided to patients and families in individual and group settings. In addition, we offer a variety of substance abuse groups that includes an educational component and Intensive Outpatient Program.
Pre-certification from insurance companies is suggested.
The Center is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
